On Her Majesty's Unofficial Service: Queen’s Park Tree Planting

28 Feb 2018
09:30 Wednesday 28 February 2018
Queen’s Park, Harborne, Birmingham

Join Trees for Cities in planting 70 semi-mature trees at Queen's Park in Birmingham.

We will be volunteering with other local groups and helping to create the next generation of iconic trees for this park.

We will be replacing trees which were felled in order to create an attenuation pond, and improving the resistance of the tree population to climatic changes.

Be prepared to wrap up warm for some winter tree planting with the local community.

Cost: free (travel expenses up to a maximum of £10 will be reimbursed by Chevening after the event)
Ticketing system: ballot
Registration for tickets: from 10:00 on Wednesday, 7 February for 48 hours
