Nottingham’s City of Caves and Justice Museum
£Free
Nottingham is well known for the legend of Robin Hood. However, there is something else about this city that is unique and impressive, and that is the old civilisation that lies under its streets and stores.
The famous ‘City of Caves’ was described for the first time in 893 A.D.
This network of more than 800 caves was home to the only underground tannery in Britain. The dark corridors also set the scene for many conspiracies and crimes, so our trip will include a visit to the Justice Museum. Here, you’ll also get to learn about the famous Glasgow-London train robbery.
If you’re a mystery and crime series fan, this is the event for you!
