University-level career support
The University of Leeds has an online platform called myCareers, which is a one-stop shop for:

Chevening Scholar Thandeka, who is currently studying MSc Biodiversity with African field work, learned about two roles through myCareers.
Successful in both, she became a Link to Leeds Ambassador with the International Office and a Faculty Representative with the Faculty of Biological Sciences, providing her with valuable skills to add to her CV.
Faculty-level career support
There are 53 Chevening Scholars currently enrolled at the University of Leeds, spread across the university’s seven faculties. Each of these faculties offer unique career enhancement opportunities for their students.
For Chevening Scholar John, who is studying a Master of Public Health International under the Faculty of Medicine and Health, the Nuffield Centre Seminar Series is easily the most impactful career support service.
Apart from career talks with industry experts, the University of Leeds faculties also offer their students internships, academic writing support, career planning, networking events, and even international study trips.
This March, John’s classmates will go to Geneva, Switzerland to join workshops and conferences organised by the World Health Organization and other international development organisations.
