Chevening Alumni from Argentina deliver lecture on challenges for young politicians

On 3 December 2014, Laura Alonso and Martin Lousteau, MPs and Chevening Alumni, talked to students and young leaders about the challenges and opportunities that young politicians and leaders face in Argentina.

Entitled ‘Challenges for young politicians’, the event was organised by Chevening and the Economics School of the Buenos Aires University (UBA) where it also took place. Dean Jose Luis Giusti welcomed the audience and introduced the speakers, who gave their expositions and answered questions from the public. Lousteau (Chevening Scholar in 1993) and Alonso (Chevening Scholar in 2000) are two of the most prominent of the new generation of politicians in Argentina.
