The FCO invites proposals for monitoring and evaluation project
The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office invites proposals from evaluation experts for the delivery of a short term monitoring and evaluation project for the Chevening Awards scheme. Chevening aims to bring future leaders to the UK in order to develop a positive disposition towards the UK and to align them with UK interests and values.
The objectives of the monitoring and evaluation project are:
- To identify and measure Chevening’s return on investment. This is defined as the impact of Chevening on the British economy. This could include analysis of student numbers and their average spend in the UK during their scholarship awards. It could also include the Foreign Direct Investment into the UK made by Chevening Alumni.
- To identify and measure Chevening’s return on influence. This is defined as the change in attitudes towards the UK among Chevening Alumni and their networks in their home countries.
- To develop a framework of ongoing monitoring and evaluation using existing human resources, and an annual action plan for its implementation, to include: return on investment, return on influence, value for money, return home tracing and customer satisfaction.
Submissions must be received no later than 26 January 2016. For more information and to submit a proposal please visit the Chevening monitoring and evaluation project page.
