With postgraduate students finishing their exams, and lockdown restrictions coming to an end, scholars have been keen to get out and explore the United Kingdom!

Meet Agustin, a Chevening Alumnus from Argentina. Agustin recognised that what we eat can make a difference to the planet. He recognised a demand for sustainable food and took action. That’s why we’ve made him our first Chevening Climate Hero.

This year’s Chevening Conference gave scholars the chance to learn about and discuss the idea of leadership with their peers, and hear from leading Edinburgh University academics on the subject.

What's happening in the UK this month, both online and in-person?

Scholars have given 1,435 hours for 135 different organisations and causes across the UK during the 2020/2021 academic year, despite Covid-19 social distancing requirements.
