Leeds Castle Fireworks Spectacular – Maidstone Kent, 05 – 06 November
Every November, Leeds Castle comes alive for two days with lights, sounds and colour. This year’s display (which is said to be the biggest pyrotechnic display in the whole of South East England) combines fireworks and projected moving images to create an audio-visual treat unlike anything else, and music that you will want to sing and dance to all night long.
Bath Mozartfest – Bath, 11 – 19 November
Sit back and enjoy concerts and recitals performed by top-notch musicians in some of the most atmospheric and beautiful venues in Bath. Classical performances will take place in the opulent Assembly Rooms, the historic Guildhall and The Forum.
Book Week Scotland – Scotland, 14 – 20 November
Book Week Scotland – now in its eleventh year – is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across Scotland in November. During Book Week, people of all ages and walks of life come together to share the joy of reading.
Exciting events and activities that celebrate the transformative power of reading will take place during Book Week.
Webinar: Improving Mental Health Through Genomics – 15 November
Mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, psychosis and bipolar disorder have considerable impacts on the lives of those affected and their families. These illnesses are caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
Major advances have been made in understanding how genetics contribute to the risk of these conditions, and the Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics at Cardiff University has led much of this work. Join Professor James Walters, Dr Kimberley Kendall, and Dr Antonio Pardiñas as they discuss how genomics provides insights and new treatment avenues for these conditions.

Winter Wonderland 2022 in Hyde Park – London, 18 November 2022 – 02 January 2023

Rugby Autumn Internationals – Principality Stadium, Cardiff – 05 November – 19 November 2022
Enjoy great live rugby action at the Autumn International rugby matches, which will take place in Principality Stadium in Cardiff city centre. It’s Wales v New Zealand first on 05 November, with tickets from £20, followed by Wales v Argentina on 12 November with tickets from £10. On 19 November Wales face Georgia, with tickets from £5 and lastly Wales v Australia, with tickets from £12.50.
There’s a return of match-day entertainment, with live music fan zones re-introduced to concourses. The soundscape of matchday is set to be revolutionised. There’s a unique mix of traditional choirs alongside a music playlist curated by a new celebrity matchday maestro, BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru and television presenter, Huw Stephens.
The Saltire Festival – East Lothian, Scotland – 23 November – 2 December 2022
The Saltire Festival is an annual celebration to mark St Andrews Day, bringing together the very best of Scotland in the Home of the Flag. The Festival takes place throughout East Lothian, taking in the stunning beaches, rolling countryside and pristine towns and villages of East Lothian.
2022 is Scotland’s Year of Stories and the Saltire Festival is the perfect opportunity to showcase events shining a spotlight on stories inspired by, written in, or created in Scotland.
The Art of Banksy – The Piazza, Media City, Salford – 21 October – 8 January 2023
Following a successful year-long run in London and critical acclaim around the world, The Art of Banksy is appearing at MediaCity from 21 October 2022. This blockbuster exhibition has gathered 145 iconic pieces from private collections across the globe to create the world’s largest touring collection of authenticated and unique Banksy artworks.
Having travelled to Melbourne, Chicago, San Francisco, Sydney, Washington DC, Boston, Tel Aviv, Auckland, Toronto, Miami, Gothenburg and London, The Art of Banksy now gives the North of England the chance to experience the infamous artist’s most well-known works, alongside those rarely seen by the public, all on loan from private collectors.

The EFG London Jazz Festival is the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival, taking place annually in November, which has long been acclaimed for showcasing a heady mix of talent from around the world.
