Proms in the Park 2018
8 September
Experience the grand finale of the two month-long BBC Proms classical music festival, with live music, fireworks, and much more. Grab a couple of friends, a blanket, and some snacks and head to Hyde Park to enjoy an atmosphere you’ll never forget.
London Brunch Festival
1 September to 2 September
September in London isn’t just the damp end of summer. The sun is still out so there’s still time to enjoy London’s great outdoors, have a peep in the city’s secret green spaces, feast in London’s best restaurants, and enjoy the last days of London’s rooftop bars. The capital is getting its first brunch festival packed with those tasty green fruits and more Bloody Marys than you can shake a flat white at.

Kynren

Kynren – An Epic Tale of England is an action-packed live blockbuster performed by a cast and crew of 1,000. Enjoy a 90-minute show providing an immersive and entertaining time-travel adventure through 2,000 years of history, myth, and legend. Held in a huge open air amphitheatre seating 8,000 guests and with the majestic backdrop of Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland, Durham.
St Leger Festival
13 to 15 September
Ever since its foundation in 1776, the St Leger Stakes has been one of the biggest events in Doncaster’s social calendar. Over time, the four days of racing have expanded into a 10-day festival, celebrating 2,000 years of Doncaster’s history and culture across the town every September. Enjoy food, music, arts, culture, and plenty of horse racing.

Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival
15 to 20 September
A multitude of producers and cheese aficionados from across the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty will be taking part and inviting you to forty fabulous happenings that will make your mouth water.
The South Pennines Walk & Ride Festival
8 to 23 September
The festival is the perfect opportunity to explore the wild and wonderful South Pennines landscape. Spanning the Yorkshire Lancashire border, this area has a fascinating history, offering everything from Neolithic stone carvings to world-changing industrial heritage, and many hidden gems.

Blackpool Light Festival
31 August to 4 November
The remarkable and world-famous illuminating event, attracting around 3 million visitors every year, is back this September. Watch as the streets of Blackpool light up in amazing technicolour light.
British Musical Fireworks Championship
28 to 30 September
This championship is the only competition of its kind in the UK and offers a very unique experience. Enjoy a three-night event of incredible firework displays near the city of Liverpool as pyrotechnic specialists battle it out to take home this year’s title.
