Saïd Foundation

The Saïd Foundation generously co-funds twelve Chevening Awards available to applicants from Jordan, Lebanon, The Occupied Palestinian Territories, and Syria wishing to study any one-year taught master's programme at one of the Saïd-Partner universities.

The Saïd Foundation has awarded educational scholarships since 1984. The Saïd Foundation scholarship programme aims to empower people through educational opportunities and to encourage the development of the Middle East. It is targeted towards outstanding individuals who demonstrate the potential to become leaders and drivers of change within our target countries of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.

Applications in all subject areas will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate how their chosen course will help them to contribute to the development of the region. Candidates who wish to be considered for an award co-sponsored by the Saïd Foundation and Chevening should apply separately to both awards. Candidates can apply for a Saïd Foundation scholarship at www.saidfoundation.org/scholarships.

Candidates should apply to one of the Saïd Foundation’s partner universities to be eligible for a co-funded award (a full list can be seen below or on the Saïd Foundation website).
