Since 1975, PETRONAS has nurtured more than 38,000 young talents from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds through education sponsorships as part of the PETRONAS Powering Knowledge initiative. We firmly believe that investing in education at all levels is crucial to maintaining a continuous and sustainable talent pipeline.

Beyond our own educational initiatives, PETRONAS is proud to partner with the prestigious Chevening Scholarship programme to heighten our dedication to human capital development. Our vision is for these scholarship recipients to leverage the knowledge and problem-solving skills gained during their studies to address real-world sustainability challenges. Through the Chevening partnership, PETRONAS is co-funding two scholarships in 2024 for Malaysian applicants pursuing a one-year Master’s degree programme in sustainability at a top university in the United Kingdom. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year, we remain committed to creating a sustainable future while continuously seeking meaningful collaborations to enrich lives.
