Why volunteer during your time in the UK?

Volunteering involves spending time, unpaid, doing something that benefits others. It’s a great way to make a lasting impact whilst also gaining important work experience.

We encourage all of our scholars to take part in volunteering opportunities during their time in the UK, as it’s a brilliant way to meet and network with other Chevening Scholars! It’s also a great way to give back to the local community and affect positive social change.

From planting trees to serving people experiencing homelessness, Cheveners have the opportunity to volunteer for a range of causes.
